New cover options!
Great news! My little notebook idea has received positive feedback. One of those useful suggestions was from the hubs recommending a more neutral cover color. I get it, everyone has a different preference. So… I went ahead and created two more cover options that I think fits the bill. One is still feminine, but is very soft and subtle. The other is more masculine. I had the hubs in mind and his aesthetics — classic and timeless.
I’ve been using the notebooks for myself. I actually divided my passwords in two sets. One notebook is for my personal stuff, the other notebook is for business related sites. So far so good. I don’t have as many passwords to rifle through by splitting them into two sets.
I didn’t make any changes to the inside page template with the two new covers. I find that the page template is useful and reminds me of the things I need to record. Also the format allows for a lot of room to write – even for folks with big, messy, handwriting like I do. The hubs did also recommend page tabs to alphabetize. I thought it was a great idea! BUT, I don’t know how to and haven’t yet figured out how to include tab designs into a page. LOL! When I figure it out, tabs will be a gen 2 design for future versions.
By using the notebooks, I also found the paper quality to be good. The paper let the pen roll smoothly as I wrote. It had a good feel to it. I had so many passwords to transfer, I found the project meditative. That was not intended, but is sure a nice bonus. Instead of being stressed about recording my password, I was relaxed.
For those of you still wondering why in the world writing things in a notebook is better than typing in a keyboard. Whether it’s meditative or not for you, I firmly believe that writing connects to the brain better and triggers something in our minds to better our memory and recall. And you can have a bonus effect of meditation. LOL! Nice, right?
Have I told you about the cover? The matte finish is yummy! I don’t know how Amazon print does it, but it feels soft and almost velvety. I just love how the book feels in my hand. Overall, I just love how these little notebooks turned out. I hope you love them as much as I do.
Without further delay, here are the new covers. Both of them are available on Amazon.
If you’d like a direct link to Amazon to check out the notebooks, here you go and thanks for looking.
