As you can tell from the patterns of my posts, I have had trouble with consistency. I get started. I do well for a time, then I disappear. It’s a lifelong bad-habit, but I’ve been working on it. And in the last year, I could say that I’ve learned to apply some discipline to my work.
Is it perfect? Not at all. But my consistency is better. So, I’m stretching myself and I’m coming back to this space. My hope is to be present. I will start slow, but my goal is a post once a week.
I call this space BOOKS, BLOGS, & BITS because my intention has always been to capture my love of books, writing, and my projects with 12 Angels Publishing. But for whatever reason I never focused it on that. I think it was because I was trying to appeal to what I thought everyone else wanted.
That didn’t work.
I’m giving myself a do-over to try again.
Come back soon. I have a lot of things I’m excited about that I’m working on. It will take time, but I’ve learned to keep taking a step, one day at a time. I’m no longer trying to rush and keep up with everyone else.
I have a pace I’ve found and it’s been working.
Be patient because I am not the fast-racer-rabbit. I am definitely the slow-steady-tortoise.
