Creativity Doesn’t Have to be Loud to Matter
Not every creative season looks impressive from the outside.
A lot of creativity happens quietly.
It happens before work. Late at night. In unfinished drafts, scattered notes, rough sketches, and ideas that may never fully become anything at all.
This month reminded me that progress doesn’t always look dramatic. Sometimes it’s publishing a story. Sometimes it’s creating new coloring pages. Sometimes it’s simply continuing when it would be easier not to. And through all of it, I’m still reading… well audiobooking, but it still counts as reading.
It’s those small moments that has helped ground me through the process. It helps to take time for yourself. It helps to break the busyness of everything.
I love fantasy stories and what those stories have taught me is that slow journeys still count. That becoming something takes time.
As I continue building 12 Angels Publishing, I want this space to reflect the idea that becoming is a process. It’s not about perfection. Creativity can be messy and slow. And that’s okay.
Quiet progress is still progress.
