Make it Happen

Make it Happen

In my last post, I told you about a FREE training I had signed up for last year called Take Control. I didn’t get to it,till just a couple of weeks ago. This week, I am happy to report that I’ve completed another free training from the fantabulous Mel Robbins called Make it Happen. The thing I’m proud of is that Make it Happen is a current training and I’m not a year behind! Woohoo!

However, I think ‘being behind’ actually worked out in my favor this time. Taking the two courses back-to-back really reinforced the lessons for me. The messages given in the two courses go seamlessly together. I don’t know if that was done on purpose or if it just worked out that way, but it worked.

Take Control is about taking a pause and really looking at where you are at in all areas of your life. This meant gauging all the different and important parts of your life, and giving yourself a ‘score’ based on the fuel gauge method. Make it Happen is the next step. This is the training where Mel Robbins challenges you to get moving and get into action. What do you want? She has you visualize what your life could be like six months from now. If there is something meaningful to you and you have been putting it off because life has been too busy, maybe it’s time to re-think that.

What if…

What if you could make things happen? Lose the weight? Go back to school? Start the business? Get back to your art?

What if, indeed.

It got me thinking. Six months is really not that long. I don’t have anything to lose. If I fail, I’m not out anything. I’ll be right where I am. Same as this second. But… what if I actually make something happen? It doesn’t even have to be the end goal that’s realized in six months. It could be that I’m six months closer than I was before.

The idea is exciting. I can feel my scalp tingling just thinking about it. LOL!

Just like the last training, Make it Happen also comes with a workbook. What I love about these workbooks is that once you download it, you always have a clean copy. You can go back to it over and over again, and whenever a self-assessment is needed. Thank you Mel Robbins!

I just love her and all her stuff. I’m a total fan. If you have not yet checked her out, I would strongly recommend you do. I’m not an affiliate and this is not a sponsored post. I just really resonate with how she teaches. She does her research and she can back her material with science based proof. But if you listen closely, she’s also spiritual and open to concepts like energies, which I also dig.

If you are in that space of wanting to do something new or different, or perhaps letting that old dream finally get its time in the sun, Mel Robbins will give you the kick start you need. I hope you check out these free resources. Have fun and reap the benefits of your brain getting brainier with the learning.
