Throne of Glass — follow up
This will be short and sweet. After my post last week, I returned to TOG, but I have only managed to read one (1) measly chapter. I am admitting defeat.
I love to read and I don’t like the feeling of feeling forced to read. With TOG, that’s the feeling I’m getting. Like, I’m only reading because my ego won’t just let me quit. I don’t like it all. So, I made the not-so-hard decision, that I will leave TOG. And the crazy thing is, I’m not even really curious what happens next.
Chapter 22 was a little bit more interesting because the main character found a secret doorway in her bedroom. Of course, the door leads to a tunnel and the tunnel leads to the outside, where she can potentially plot her escape. But at this point, I don’t think I really care whether she stays or goes.
So… I bid you adieu, TOG! My reading window is closed. I gave it a go, but I can no longer continue.
